70,000 Worshipers Perform Isha, Taraweeh Prayers At Al Aqsa Mosque
Occupied Jerusalem: 70,000 worshipers performed Isha and Taraweeh prayers on the 11th day of the holy month of Ramadan at Al Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on access to the mosque.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said in a statement that about 70,000 worshipers performed Isha and Taraweeh prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque, most of them from the Holy City or from within the 1948 territories.
It noted that the occupation authorities prevented thousands of citizens from the West Bank governorates from reaching Jerusalem to perform prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque.
