Afghan Acting FM Leaves For Oman To Strengthen Political, Economic Ties


(MENAFN- Nam News Network) KABUL, Mar 10 (NNN-BNA) – Acting Foreign Minister of the Afghan interim government, Amir Khan Muttaqi, left Kabul for Oman, to strengthen political and economic relations, deputy spokesman for the foreign ministry, Hafiz Zia Ahmad, said yesterday.

Muttaqi will discuss political and economic dimensions of the bilateral partnership with his counterpart and other high-level Oman officials, Ahmad said.

In Jan, the Afghan acting foreign minister visited the United Arab Emirates, where he met with senior officials, focused on enhancing bilateral ties, including political, trade and investment.

Since assuming power in Aug, 2021, officials of the Afghan interim government have been making efforts to strengthen ties with other nations.– NNN-BNA
