Kuwait's Amir Receives Letter From Kyrgyz Pres. On Bilateral Ties

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 20 (KUNA) - His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Thursday a letter from Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, on the bilateral ties between the two countries.
This came during the reception of Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubayev, Thursday, on the occasion of his official visit and the accompanying delegation to Kuwait.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also received a similar letter from the Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adilbek Kasmaliev.
Following the meeting, two memoranda of understanding were signed between the two friendly countries, on the establishment of a joint committee for cooperation between the governments and another between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented by the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, and the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented by the Diplomatic Academy on diplomatic training programs.
