American comedian Jerry Seinfeld says 'I don't care about Palestine'

(MENAFN) In a footage posted on Subway DJ’s Instagram on Sunday, an activist asked Jerry Seinfeld for a selfie and after Seinfeld agreed, the activist posed with a peace sign as he’s saying: “Free Palestine!”

When Seinfeld was told to say the phrase as well, Seinfeld stalled before shaking his head and answered: “I don’t care about Palestine.”

The activist replied: “That’s sad.”

At a graduation party in North Carolina’s Duke University last May, a bunch of students criticized Seinfeld’s statement, raising Palestinian flags as they say "Freedom for Palestine" before leaving.

Seinfeld, who is not a religious Jew but also stands for Israel, had been asked to talk, however, a lot of people protested this invite.
