“Andriy Yermak emphasized that today all efforts of Ukraine and its partners are aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace. At the same time, he noted: if there are no reliable security guarantees, there will certainly be a new escalation and war, which could further affect the whole of Europe. After all, despite its public statements, the Russian Federation does not want real peace and continues its aggression, particularly against civilians and critical infrastructure,” the statement said.
Andriy Yermak and Anders Fogh Rasmussen discussed key messages from the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference . Special attention was given to strengthening Europe's efforts for its own defense and further support for Ukraine, as well as the importance of Europe's active role in the future security system.

As reported, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Europe immediately needs its own action plan for Ukraine, otherwise the future of the continent will be decided by other global players.
