South Sudan’s president expels 2 vice presidents, national security chief


(MENAFN) On Monday night, South Sudan’s Leader Salva Kiir Mayardit expelled Vice presidents James Wani Igga and Hussein Abdelbagi, with National Security Service chief Akech Tong Aleu, in an official order interpretation on South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation.

Stated in another official order, Kiir designated Benjamin Bol Mel to substitute Wani Igga as Vice president signifying the ruling Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).

President of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA), Josephine Lago Yang was designated to substitute Abdelbagi, who had been in the position since five years ago following the conditions of the reactivated peace pact.
