HP To Establish PC Manufacturing Facility In Saudi Arabia

HP Inc. has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking a significant expansion of its global operations. The facility is scheduled to commence production of personal computers , printers, and other computing devices within the year. This move aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify the nation's Economy and bolster its technological capabilities.

Enrique Lores, President and CEO of HP Inc., unveiled this initiative during his address at the LEAP25 technology conference. He emphasized that the Riyadh facility would not only cater to the growing demand for computing devices in the Middle East but also serve as a strategic hub for HP's operations in the region. In conjunction with the manufacturing plant, HP is launching an Artificial Intelligence and Research and Development Centre of Excellence in Dhahran. It will focus on areas such as data analytics, robotic process automation, and AI-driven decision-making to help companies optimize operations and improve efficiency. These initiatives complement HP's ongoing educational partnerships in Saudi Arabia, including collaborations with the Human Resources Development Fund, Tuwaiq Academy, and Savvy Games Group.
