Yemen news agency (SABA) reported that this came when Al-Alimi received Acting Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Waleed Al-Bahar, and Kuwait Ambassador to Yemen Falah Al-Hajraf, on the sidelines of signing a bilateral agreement on Saturday.
The agreement aims to relaunch Kuwaiti funding for development programs, and rescheduling the payment of arrears due to Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development.

For his part, Al-Bahar stressed the Fund's keenness to implement the Amiri directives, and reviewed the projects to be funded during the next phase, including the electricity, health and rural roads sectors.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Waed Badib signed the agreement on behalf of the Yemeni Government, while Acting Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Waleed Al-Bahar signed it on behalf of the Fund, with the presence of Yemeni Presidency Office's Director Yahya Al-Shuaibi and Kuwait Ambassador to Yemen Falah Al-Hajraf.
