Sheikh Joaan Attends Chinese President's Lunch Banquet

Doha: His Excellency sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, attended the lunch banquet hosted by His Excellency President Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, today in honor of the guests of the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games "Harbin 2025".

The ceremony was also attended by a number of senior figures and sports leaders in Asia, Executive Board members of the Olympic Council of Asia, and members of the Harbin 2025 Organizing Committee.

The ninth Asian Winter Games is being held in Harbin, China, from the seventh to the fourteenth of February, with the participation of 1275 athletes (755 males and 520 females) representing 34 National Olympic Committees from the Asian continent.
