Russians Pursue Urban Assaults In Chasiv Yar, Toretsk


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian troops, supported by artillery and drones of various types, continue to storm Ukraine's defense positions in the urban areas of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk.

That's according to the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping of troops, Ukrinform reports.

In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the Russians continue assaults on urban areas of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. In order to deliver assault units to advanced positions in the Leonidivka area, the enemy used automotive equipment. Ukraine's forces destroyed three vehicles and eliminated 16 invaders, effectively chocking the attack.

Over the past day, in the Kharkiv direction, the Russians carried out assault operations in Vovchansk that led to no gains.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of the Ukrainian troops near Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Zahryzove, seeing no success.

In the Lyman direction, the invaders attacked Ukraine's fortifications in the areas of Yampolivka and Torske. No losses were reported.

The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest on the entire line of combat contact. Russian troops conducted offensive operations in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Promin, Pishchane, Udachne, Uspenivka, Andriivka, and Dachne. North of Novoyelyzavetivka, the enemy used motor vehicles to deliver assault groups to forward positions. Seven Russian vehicles were either damaged or destroyed. The search and liquidation of what's left of the enemy assault force continues.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the invaders attacked in the area of Kostiantynopil, seeing no success. The enemy continues to amass forces and equipment for further attacks. Ukrainian defenders are inflicting significant losses on Russian manpower and equipment.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, drone operators from the 4th Ivan Bohun Operational Brigade Chervona Kalyna of the National Guard, together with fighters from the 38th Separate Marine Brigade of the Naval Forces, held back a Russian offensive in the Pokrovsk direction.
