Musk Criticizes Biden for Diverting Funds to Undocumented Migrants

(MENAFN) Elon Musk has criticized the administration of former President Joe Biden for allegedly diverting billions of taxpayer dollars away from aiding struggling Americans and instead using the funds to assist undocumented migrants.

Musk, a prominent supporter of current President Donald Trump, leads the Department of government Efficiency (DOGE), an organization tasked with reducing government waste.

The entrepreneur has been outspoken about the economic effects of illegal immigration, particularly government spending on services for undocumented individuals. He claims that federal policies have created incentives for illegal border crossings, imposing a heavy financial burden on US citizens.

"Under the Biden administration, billions of dollars were shifted from helping Americans in need to facilitating illegal immigration. Super messed up!" Musk wrote in a post on social media platform X on Tuesday.

Previously, Musk estimated that illegal immigration cost US taxpayers over $150 billion in 2023, based on figures from the Federation for American Immigration Reform. This includes spending on healthcare, education, and law enforcement.
