Rs 19 Lakh Looted From J & K Bank Branch In Kishtwar

(MENAFN- Kashmir Observer) Srinagar- Thieves looted Rs 19 lakh from the JK Bank branch located in the Dachan area of Kishtwar district, officials said on Monday.

An official said that unidentified persons decamped with cash from the J&K Bank branch in Dachan.
He stated that approximately Rs 19.50 lakh was stolen from the branch, which usually remains cut off during the winter period.

Efforts are underway to identify the robbers, officials said.“CCTV footage is being analysed, and an investigation has been initiated,” the official added.
