Azerbaijan Reveals 2024 Budget Allocation For Karabakh And Eastern Zangezur Reconstruction


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 28. A whopping 4.8 billion manat ($2.8 billion) was allocated from Azerbaijan's state budget in 2024 for the restoration and reconstruction of territories liberated from occupation, Trend reports.

According to calculations based on the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan data, the amount of funds decreased by 13.6 percent year-on-year.

Moreover, it is noted that in 2024 the customers utilized 99.4 percent of the 4.8 billion manat ($2.8 billion) envisaged in the state budget, allocated for the restoration and reconstruction projects of the liberated territories.

In addition, 98.5 percent, or 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion), of the funds budgeted for capital state investments have also been utilized.
