Israeli Occupation Is Dishonoring Truce Obligations -- PM


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- The prime minister of the carEtaker cabinet, Najib Mikati, on Thursday slammed the Israeli occupation for breaching commitments it had presented to sponsors of the ceace-fire, the US and France.
The prime minister in a statement said the Israeli occupation carried out an air strike on the southern town of Al-Khiam earlier today, less than 24 hours after units of the Lebanese Army moved in in implementation of the truce accord.
He urged the observation commission to act decisively and prevent the occupation from carrying out such attacks again.
The commission that comprises officers from the US, France, Lebanon and Israel, is tasked with enforcing the cease-fire, declared in late November. (end)
