(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Volodymyr Zelensky may sign the state budget 2025 and the law on tax increase in the upcoming days.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this on national television, Ukrinform reports.
“Both the law on the state budget 2025 and the law on amendments to the Tax Code will be signed in the coming days,” he informed.
The head of government emphasized that passing the tax law is one of the main requirements of Ukraine's lender, the International Monetary Fund.
The Cabinet has already appealed to the President's Office and President Zelensky, calling on both bills to be signed into law as soon as possible.

Shmyhal stressed that both laws are also important from the point of view of filling all expenditure items for the country's defense with funds both this year and next.
"We hope that in the coming days, both laws will be signed and we will receive additional resources to fund salaries, as well as funds for the purchase of weapons and ammunition for our country's defense. Both laws are key to our survival next year. The requirement to fund military allowances is critical," he noted.
