BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. Strengthening
collaboration among the Turkic states ensures their prosperity,
economic growth, and sustainable development, Azerbaijani Economy
Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on his X page, Trend reports.
"At the 1st meeting of Ministers of Industry, Science,
Technology, and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic States in
Istanbul, we explored opportunities for enhancing the industrial
ecosystem, promoting trade and investments, supporting SMBs,
adopting modern technologies, and advancing initiatives in science,
innovation, and digitalization. We extend our gratitude to the
organizers for the productive discussions and to our brotherly
nation, Türkiye, for its warm hospitality," he added.
The inaugural Meeting of the Ministers in Charge of Science,
Technology, Industry, and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic
States (OTS) has gathered officials from Türkiye, Azerbaijan,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, and the Turkish
Republic of Northern Cyprus.
During the meeting, delegates reviewed ongoing cooperation,
discussed alignment with initiatives of related OTS Working Groups,
and established Sub-Working Groups to facilitate further
collaboration.
