Dubai Digital signs MOU with global event organizer Cone

(MENAFN) Dubai Digital, the government entity focused on advancing digital transformation in Dubai, has established a strategic partnership with Cone, a prominent global organizer of events and trade shows, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to enhance Dubai Digital's visibility at both local and international GITEX events, which are organized by Cone and its affiliates worldwide, including notable venues like GITEX Africa in Marrakech, GITEX Europe in Berlin, GITEX Asia in Singapore, and the flagship GITEX event in Dubai.
The partnership seeks to identify future collaboration opportunities and set up mechanisms for Dubai Digital's participation in upcoming GITEX events. It primarily aims to support Dubai's globalization strategy by highlighting its achievements and vision in digital development, ultimately strengthening its global partnerships and reinforcing its status as a leading digital city.
His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, noted that this global partnership is the first of several initiatives aimed at enhancing the exchange of knowledge and expertise within the international digital community. He believes that this integration will positively influence the digital city roadmaps of various countries, providing a cohesive approach that will further solidify Dubai's role as a global digital hub.
Hamad Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Digital, emphasized that this agreement reflects their commitment to fostering national cooperation aligned with the vision of Dubai's leadership. He stated that everyone in Dubai plays a part in shaping the emirate's future and that this collaboration will help establish Dubai as a global model for digital cities.
