Azerbaijani, Uzbek Armies Wrap Up Maharat-2024 Computer-Run Command-Staff Drills (PHOTO)

The closing ceremony of computer-assisted command-staff exercise Maharat-2024 (Mastery) conducted between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in accordance with Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024, signed between the Defense Ministries of two countries was held, Trend reports via the statement from Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

According to the statement, the ceremony honored memory of Heroes of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as ational anthems of both countries were played.

"The speakers noted that the main goal of the Maharat-2024 exercise is to increase the coordination and efficiency of the allied forces and to develop the strategic partnership.

In general, the progress of the exercise, the use of modern computer technologies and decision-making skills of the participants were positively evaluated.

It was highlighted that the military personnel of both countries demonstrated high professionalism in the execution of all tasks.

Certificates were presented to the participants, and a group of distinguished servicemen was awarded.

The ceremony ended with a concert program organized by the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov," the statement said.
