Numerous events dedicated to September 27, the Day of Remembrance, were organized in Azerbaijani Houses across various countries, with the support of these cultural centers, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan told Trend .

Memory spots for the martyrs were created, and exhibitions were opened at these events.

According to the statement from the State Committee, expatriates participated in the events to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

"Discussions at the events highlighted the historical significance of the brilliant victory achieved by the heroic Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, our victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and the bravery displayed by the sons of Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War," the statement noted.

Currently, 30 Azerbaijani Houses are operating in 17 countries around the world.
