Tajik-Uzbek Demarcation Commission Holds Next Meeting


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 28. The regular meeting of the working groups of the Tajik-Uzbek Joint Demarcation Commission was held in the city of Termez in Uzbekistan from August 22 through August 28, 2024, the statement of Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry said, Trend reports.

“During the meeting, joint work continued to agree on the passage of the project demarcation line of the Tajik-Uzbek State border. The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding. Following the results of the work, the relevant Protocol was signed. The next meeting will be held on the territory of Tajikistan,” the statement of the Ministry reads.

To note, the length of the Tajik-Uzbek border is 1,332 kilometers.
