Uzbekistan's HUMO, Korean BC Card Sign Agreement On Mutual Integration Of Payment Systems
According to HUMO, the cardholders will be able to conveniently make payments using only domestic cards both in Korea and Uzbekistan.
“Creation of such cooperation between our companies contributes to the development of international relations in the field of non-cash payments, as well as creates an opportunity for HUMO cardholders and BC Card holders to use their local cards in both countries,” the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of National Interbank Processing Center Maqsad Mukhitdinov said.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan started the privatization process of 100 percent state share of the National Interbank Processing Center (HUMO) by public invitation to negotiations per Article 22 of the Law of Uzbekistan on Privatization of State Property.
The National Interbank Processing Center has the appropriate license of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan necessary for carrying out activities as an operator of the payment system.
