Two-Story Building Hit And Demolished In Israeli Occupation Air Attack On South Beirut

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 30 (KUNA) -- Israeli warplanes around dusk on Tuesday carried out a strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut hitting and demolishing a two-story building.
According to initial reports by the official National News Agency, the "Al-Rabie" building in the district of Haret Hraik collapsed after it was hit by a raiding drone of the Israeli Occupation that unleashed at least three air-to-surface rockets.
Other reports indicated that shrapnel hit the adjacent Bahman Hospital, inflicting damage.
The targeted region is adjacent to the Beirut Airport road, a key route for travellers.
The strike coincided with ongoing military hostilities in southern Lebanon pitting the Israeli occupation forces, positioned in the north of occupied Palestine, against the Lebanese resistance. It also came on the heels of a rocket strike on a town in the occupied part of the Golan Heights where at least 12 children perished.
The Israeli occupation has vowed to retaliate forcefully for the Golan attack. (end)
