Turkish defense firm CTech reveals homegrown black box at UK airshow

(MENAFN) Turkish defense firm CTech unveiled its innovative homegrown black box at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK. CTech’s CEO, Cuneyd Firat, highlighted the significance of the expo, noting that it brought together key players in the aviation industry and provided valuable networking opportunities.
Firat expressed enthusiasm about showcasing CTech’s advanced technology and forming new partnerships. He emphasized that the airshow offered a platform for the company to present its field-proven solutions to a global audience.
The newly introduced black box by CTech is a state-of-the-art device designed to be accident-resistant. It serves as a voice and mission data recorder, engineered to withstand extreme conditions, including underwater environments and high temperatures, thereby ensuring the integrity and safety of the recordings.
In addition to the black box, CTech presented its UfukLink-Mini product line, which provides reliable and high-speed data transfer over long distances. This technology is particularly effective in helicopters, airplanes, and ships, delivering uninterrupted performance.
CTech also introduced Scofus, a new broadband communication solution that integrates multiple channels—such as SATCOM, RF-LOS, 4G, and 5G—into a single channel. This integration ensures secure and high-quality bandwidth necessary for autonomous and semi-autonomous platforms across land, air, and sea.
Additionally, CTech showcased its SecureARX Satellite Communications System, designed for mobile vehicles operating under challenging conditions. The system meets stringent requirements for satellite communications.
At the airshow, CTech also displayed its SkyARX Terminal, a compact satellite antenna system, and the HeliARX satcom solution, further demonstrating the firm’s diverse and advanced technological offerings.
