A Memorandum of Understanding on expanding cooperation in the
field of gas supply was signed between the State Oil Company of
Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Slovenia's largest Natural gas supply
company, "Geoplin", Azernews reports, citing
SOCAR.
It was reported that SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with
Slovenian Minister of Environment, Climate, and energy Bojan Kumer
today.
During the meeting, it was noted with satisfaction that energy
sector relations between Azerbaijan and Slovenia have thrived. The
emphasis was placed on the wide potential for cooperation in
natural gas supply.
