UNICEF Says 90% Of Gazans Have Been Displaced Since October

Amman, July 17 (Petra) -- The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Wednesday said over 90 per cent of the population of the Gaza Strip have been displaced since the start of the war in October.
According to an X post, UNICEF said the places where residents are forced to move lack necessities and safety.
Separately, the Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said Israel bombed at least eight schools in Gaza in the past ten days, 6 of which belong to the UN agency.
Lazzarini wrote on X: "An almost daily occurrence. At least eight schools hit in the last 10 days, including six UNRWA schools."
