Kaztransoil Installs Electric Heaters At Omsk - Pavlodar Oil Pipeline

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 17.
Inductive-conductive electric heating systems have been installed
at the production facilities of the emergency recovery point
Priirtyshsk of the Pavlodar oil pipeline Department of KazTransOil
(Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipeline), the
company told Trend .
According to KazTransOil, installing these systems will reduce
operating costs by 38.4 million tenge (about $80,000) per year.
Thanks to these systems, a zero level of emission of pollutants
into the atmosphere associated with the heating of production
facilities at the Priirtyshsk emergency recovery center has been
achieved.
Before the introduction of inductive-conductive electric
heaters, a boiler house running on liquid fuel supplied heat to the
production facilities of the emergency recovery point Priirtyshsk
of the Pavlodar oil pipeline Department of KazTransOil.
As the company noted, currently, heating the production
facilities of KazTransOil with inductive-conductive electric
heaters is carried out only at the emergency recovery point in
Priirtyshsk.
To note, KazTransOil is the national operator of the main oil
pipeline in Kazakhstan. It is a part of the KazMunayGas group (a
national oil and gas company) and owns a diversified network of
main oil pipelines with a length of 5,400 kilometers.
