Aqaba Hosts Second Roundtable Meeting For Green Hydrogen Investors
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, July 4 (Petra) - The second roundtable meeting for potential investors in the green hydrogen sector in Jordan commenced on Thursday in Aqaba.
Patronized by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Kharabsheh, the meeting was attended via Zoom by Nayef Fayez, Chairperson of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, along with government agencies, international financiers, and donors interested in green hydrogen.
Kharabsheh noted that this meeting follows the success of the first investor meeting held last March, which featured valuable discussions with partners to advance these projects in Jordan.
He expressed gratitude to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority for facilitating visits to sites earmarked for green hydrogen projects in the region.
It is noteworthy that the necessary studies to develop the infrastructure for the green hydrogen industry are currently being prepared in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. These efforts are also in collaboration with an international consultant, IFL Company, which presented its initial concepts for the project during the meeting.
