MSME Ministry Launches Yashasvini Scheme For Women Entrepreneurs
During the commemoration, Minister Manjhi unveiled the Yashasvini campaign, an initiative aimed at supporting 100,000 women entrepreneurs in tier 2 and 3 cities through skilling and capacity-building programs over the next year.
Rajneesh, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, MSME Ministry, elaborated on the campaign's objectives, stating, "The campaign is dedicated to women MSMEs. We will intensify our efforts in smaller cities, focusing on skilling and capacity building.
He further added,“Our goal is to handhold and support 100,000 women entrepreneurs within a year."
The event brought together key stakeholders from various sectors, including policymakers, large corporations, financial institutions, and members of the international community.
Participants engaged in discussions and exchanged ideas regarding essential legal reforms to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act, with the aim of promoting growth and sustainability within the MSME sector.
This gathering underscores the government's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and addressing the unique challenges faced by women-led businesses in smaller urban centres.
