
Overeating On Eid-Ul-Adha Sends Over 3,000 Peshawar Residents To Hospitals
- Adha. Patients with stomach and gastrointestinal issues were treated in three teaching hospitals in the city.
According to the spokesperson for Lady Reading Hospital, 1,400 people were admitted to the emergency department over three days due to malnutrition. Similarly, 550 people were treated at Hayatabad Medical Complex.

In addition to dietary issues, dozens of people sustained injuries from animals and knife cuts during the Eid celebrations. Lady Reading Hospital treated 300 injured individuals, while Khyber Teaching Hospital attended to 353 patients with knife injuries.
