Kuwait Social Affairs Min. Discusses Relations, Common Interests With Lebanese Counterpart

NEW YORK, June 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Minister of Social Affairs, Family, Childhood, and Minister of Youth Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interests with the Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar.
The discussion took place during Dr. Al-Huwailah's meeting with Minister Hajjar on Wednesday at the permanent Kuwaiti mission to the United Nations.
Both parties emphasized the deep and strong bonds between the two countries and the distinctiveness of the relations, especially in fields related to social affairs and issues concerning people with disabilities.
The meeting also discussed the ongoing cooperation between the relevant authorities and agencies in both countries, and ways to support and enhance this cooperation further in the future. (end)
