Number Of Residents Back To Their Native Lands In Azerbaijan's Lachin And Zabukh

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 30. In accordance withthe instruction of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan IlhamAliyev, the return of former internally displaced persons to therestored city of Lachin and the Zabukh village of Lachin districtcontinues, Trend reports.

At this stage, another 21 families (65 people) moved to the cityof Lachin, another 2 families (4 people) moved to the village ofZabukh.

The resettled families will settle in the houses where they oncelived in Lachin, which were restored or rebuilt on the basis ofinstructions from the head of state after the end of the Armenianoccupation. Lachin residents thanked President Ilham Aliyev andFirst Lady Mehriban Aliyeva for their comprehensive care, expressedgratitude to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, which liberated thelands from occupation.

Thus, until today, a permanent settlement in the city of Lachinhas been provided for 493 families - 1838 people, and permanentresidence in the village of Zabukh has been provided for 217families - 823 people.
