President of theRepublic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, who is on an officialvisit to Azerbaijan, has visited the Alley of Honors to pay tributeto National Leader, architect and founder of the modern andindependent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath atthe Great Leader's tomb, Trend reports.
The Congolese President also put flowers at the grave ofprominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
