Defense Forces Have Partial Success South Of Robotyne General Staff

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Defense Forces of Ukraine continued the offensive operation in the Melitopol sector and had partial success south of the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post , Ukrinform reports.

"In the past 24 hours, 55 combat clashes have taken place. In total, the enemy launched 4 missile attacks and 68 airstrikes, carried out 49 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population. Damage was caused to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure," the report says.

The Russian occupiers launched another air attack on Ukraine overnight, using 6 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All attack UAVs were destroyed by Ukraine's air defense forces.

In the past days, the following settlements came under enemy airstrikes: Synkivka, Petropavlivka of Kharkiv region; Serebrianka forestry, Luhansk region; Klishchiivka, New York, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Oleksandropil, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske of Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Piatykhatky of Zaporizhzhia region; Zmiivka, Olhivka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Sadove, Prydniprovske of Kherson region.

About 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions came under Russian artillery fire.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct the offensive operation in the Melitopol sector, had partial success south of Robotyne. They are inflicting manpower and equipment losses on the occupying troops, weakening the enemy along the entire front line.

"In the past 24, the aviation of the Defense Forces launched 7 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy, as well as 3 more strikes targeting enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Missile forces struck 8 enemy artillery units, 4 manpower, weapons and military equipment clusters, one EW station, one pontoon-bridge crossing, as well as remote mining of the terrain in two areas," the General Staff concluded.

As reported, since February 24, 2022, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have eliminated about 294,799 Russian aggressors.
