Representatives From Several Dozen Countries To Take Part In Third Summit Of First Ladies And Gentlemen - Zelenska

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Representatives of several dozen countries will take part in the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen set to be held in Kyiv.

That's according to Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska, who spoke at a press conference in Kyiv, answering questions from an Ukrinform correspondent.

"There are a lot of countries (who will take part in the summit - ed.): several dozen. This is a different format. We have increased the number of those who will come to Kyiv by more than half (compared to 2022 - ed.). For security reasons, I cannot yet to say how many there will be, and also who they are," she said.

At the same time, the first lady shared her expectations of the event. Zelenska noted that all summits are held in a networking format. In her opinion, this always promotes further interaction between the participants. In this context, the first lady noted the importance of practical results of the summit.

"I consider partnership in health care as a practical consequence of this year's summit. We worked a lot on this. I held a number of talks with variclinics, representatives of the medical field from varicountries," Zelenska said.

She clarified that such a partnership will involve an exchange of experience, including in the field of healthcare management, which will contribute to the development of relevant services in Ukraine.

In addition to the practical result, the first lady emphasized the need for aligning positions in terms of value.

"We saw how the world supported us. The majority of people around the world. We don't want that support to fade. We need to see these people, they need to see us, walking our streets. They need to see that their efforts, their countries' resources, provided to Ukraine, are spent not in vain, that they really helpsurvive and develop," she emphasized.

Zelenska expressed the opinion that this will be the most interesting summit of all that have already taken place.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen will be held in Kyiv on September 6.
