The World Autism Summit Inaugural Virtual Event Hosted By Autism Today September 25- October 1, 2023 -- Autism Today Foundation


(MENAFN- PRLog) -- Autism Today's first annual World Autism Summit will include dynamic professionals offering their information and support with the hopes to generate conversations that move the needle of understanding and success the fastest way possible around the autism and neurodiversity movement.
More than 50 Autism experts from around the globe will present on panels topics ranging from early intervention, technology, mental health, education, career training and employment, financial planning, and arts and entertainment. Interactive presentations, movie screenings, and question-and-answer sessions also will be incorporated.
Keynote speakers include Dr. Temple Grandin, Dr. Stephen Shore, and Louise Masin Sattler. All events are free, with continuing education credits offered, and downloadable "take-aways" for continued learning available.
Karen Simmons, founder of Autism Today and the parent of a child with autism and another that is neurodiverse, stated her goal for the summit is
- "To shine a light on the gifts, strengths, and talents of people neurodiversity. We want people to know that world is full of Spectrum Stars".
The World Autism Summit has partnered and received support from numerous brands such as Tobii Dynavox, Santander Consumer Ca, School of Rock, the CPD Group, FOUND ME, Rangman Talent,
MENTRA, GOLDMIND studios, Gem Gallerie,
Exceptional Resources, the MEISIZWE Brothers, the Fiddle Foundation,
as well as many volunteers.
Several of the experts and brands have worked collaboratively prior to this event, including Dr. Shore and Ms. Simmons creating a learning program for the School of Rock , called "Notes for the Music Room."
