Delegates arrive in Belém's airport are welcomed with lively "Boi de mascara"


(MENAFN) This week, representatives incoming in Belém's global airport are being hosted with an energetic "Boi de mascara" folkloric dance routine. In fact, the entire town is rejoicing being in the spotlight, being host to the Amazon Summit.

Leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva named this conference to join the eight South American nations who share a portion of the Amazon.

It is the first time in more than four decades that there has been a conference similar to this, guaranteeing a local reply to fight corruption as well as deforestation, also, climate alteration.
