Value of Iran's export to Armenia grows 38.4 percent in first quarter


(MENAFN) According to the official of the Trade Development Committee of the Iranian House of Industry, Mining, and Trade, the value of Iran's exports to Armenia grew 38.4 percent in the first three months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21) compared to the same time a year earlier.

In accordance with Ruhollah Latifi, Iran shipped 335,000 tons of goods valued USD101.747 million to Armenia over the mentioned quarter, based on IRIB.

Steel products, food, shrimp and fish, vegetables and fruits, dried fruits, urea, bitumen, construction materials, coal, petroleum derivatives, gas, chemical products, motor oil, paints, glues, as well as solvents, health and cosmetic products, plastic materials, pipes, floors, appliances for the kitchen, clothes, carpets, leather goods, boards, paper, thread, along with fabric, footwear, and bags, appliances for the home, electrical and electronic equipment, as well as cables and wires, were among the primary exported commodities, based on a spokesperson.

The total amount of Iran's non-oil exports to Armenia increased by 62.5 percent in the previous Iranian calendar year 1401 (which ended on March 20) compared to the previous year.
