Royal Decree Summons Parliament For Extraordinary Session As Of July 16

A Royal Decree was issued, summoning Parliament to convene for an extraordinary session as of Sunday, July 16, 2023, to debate the following bills:


1. Draft Law on Public-Private Partnership Projects for the year 2023.

2. Draft Law amending the Real Estate Property Law for the year 2023.

3. Draft Cybercrime Law for the year 2023.

4. Draft Law amending the Traffic Law for the year 2023.

5. Draft Law amending the Companies Law for the year 2022.

6. Draft Law abolishing the law for the endorsement of a joint agreement for oil exploration, evaluation, development and production between the Natural Resources Authority and Ammonite Energy International Inc. in Jafer and central Jordan for the year 2017.

7. Draft Law amending Sharia Courts Formation Law for the year 2023.

8. Draft Law on Protecting Personal Data for the year 2022.


Also per the Royal Decree, the constitutional oath, in accordance with Article 80 of the Constitution, is to be administered to fill the vacant seat in Irbid's third district, according to a Royal Court statement.
