Prominent Al-Shabaab Militias' Leader Killed By Somali Army

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, June 13 (KUNA) -- Somali army announced killing a prominent leader in the Shabaab militias called Abou Sahl, in a military operation on Tuesday.
According to Somali News Agency (SONNA), the army also killed five of the leader's bodyguards in the same operation in Kismayo, Lower Juba governorate.
SONNA added that the army also destroyed five of the group's vehicles and killed all militants onboard.
Lower Juba had been going under military operations recently, executed by the Somali army against Al-Shabaab militias. (end)
