EU accuses Elon Musk of offence that he didn’t commit

(MENAFN) European Union representatives are having a breakdown, all due to twitter chief executive Elon Musk withdrew of the podium from a “voluntary” European Union code of conduct for tech companies to stop what’s known as “disinformation.” And till now they can’t quote one real example of it.

European Union Internal Markets Commissioner Thierry Breton said in a tweet, “You can run, but you can’t hide,” quoting a legal commitment to stop disinformation from August.

He’s tentatively treating Musk, a man who builds rockets and automobiles in America, like a disruptive schoolchild, with Brussels playing the role of the principal.

French Digital Minister Jean-Noel Barrot has even warned to prohibit Twitter from the European Union in latest interview, quoting the “grave” danger of disinformation.

They’re initially charging Musk with pre-crime, similar to the film ‘Minority Report’ where Tom Cruise’s character is running away from the authorities before having committed a crime.
