Rising Interest: Saudi Arabia's Healthcare Sector Attracts Global Attention with New Projects


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia is set to witness a wave of health projects as the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization, announced new developments in medical rehabilitation, long-stay care, and home-care services in Riyadh and the Eastern Province. These projects have garnered significant attention, with 200 local and international firms submitting their expressions of interest.

The first project focuses on the establishment of 200 long-stay hospital beds and nursing care centers, providing essential medical services to patients. The initiative received a remarkable response, with a total of 139 firms from 16 countries expressing interest in participating. These firms represent a diverse range of countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, the US, Canada, the UK, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, India, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Australia. This high level of international interest highlights the global recognition of Saudi Arabia as an attractive destination for healthcare investments.

The second project aims to enhance medical rehabilitation services by providing 150 hospital beds and facilitating 120,000 treatment sessions for outpatients. This initiative has also generated considerable interest, demonstrating the growing importance of comprehensive healthcare solutions in the region. With an increasing emphasis on patient-centric care and rehabilitation services, the project has captured the attention of healthcare providers and organizations from around the world.
