(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Hanandeh briefed Khasawneh on the latest developments regarding the ministry's programmes and projects, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Coinciding with the visit, entrepreneurship experts held a meeting focused on strategies to promote the growth of the entrepreneurship sector, featuring the prime minister's participation. During the visit, Khasawneh emphasised the importance of exploring all possible avenues to address funding gaps and bolster the sector's advancement. He emphasised the need for collaboration, coordination and networking with the private sector, as well as forging links with similar sectors in other countries.
