LXA to Bring International Expertise to KSA's Emerging Design Management Sector
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's emerging design management sector is attracting an increasing number of creative outfits, including the UK-based interior design firm LXA. In an interview with Arab News at the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh, LXA CEO David Rees announced that the company is opening an office in Riyadh to take advantage of the emerging opportunities in the Kingdom. Rees stated that LXA has about 80 people worldwide, and this is the perfect time for the company to bring its international expertise into the Saudi market.
Rees added that LXA is currently in high-level talks of partnerships with another company but refused to provide further details. He stated that there is a lot going on and lots of conversations that the company will be working on. LXA values collaboration with other industry professionals and seeks to use diverse viewpoints and skills to create innovative designs.
LXA has already made inroads into the Kingdom by developing a Latin-American restaurant called MNKY HSE in Riyadh and a food and beverage marketplace called Boxooo in Jeddah. When asked where he sees the sector positioned in the next five years in the Kingdom, Rees stated that it is going to be enormous, and LXA is going to be a part of that. He pointed to the thousands of hotels and hotel keys being announced at the exhibition and emphasized that LXA has international expertise from London and the Middle East, making it a perfect partner for the Kingdom's emerging design management sector.
Rees noted that Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 plans are obviously exciting, and the company aims to bring global expertise to the market with its credentials. LXA's decision to open an office in Riyadh is a testament to the Kingdom's growing status as an attractive destination for international investors and firms seeking to expand their reach. As Saudi Arabia continues to invest in its hospitality and tourism industry, LXA's international expertise and innovative designs will play a crucial role in the development of the sector.
