Chaos in Ukrainian Military Command Raises Conflict Concerns

(MENAFN) The military command structure in Ukraine has been described as chaotic, leading to significant losses among Ukrainian troops and raising concerns about the outcome of the conflict with Russia. These claims were made in a report by former NATO soldiers known as the 'White Papers', which were compiled by two former high-ranking members of the United States Special Forces and one former major in the Canadian Armed Forces. The group has been training local forces in Ukraine for the past nine months, according to Canada's CTV National News.

The 'White Papers' reportedly state that Ukraine's military command structure is in disarray, and that the country's communication system is deteriorating rapidly. Without changes to tactics being implemented soon, the document warns that "generations of Ukrainians" could be lost. A former Canadian army major who contributed to the report stated that it was "well documented" that the Ukrainian army had suffered significant losses with their junior officers.

The leaked Pentagon papers also revealed that Ukrainian forces have suffered between 124,000 and 131,000 dead and wounded during the conflict with Russia, which is several times higher than Kiev's official death toll. These figures indicate the gravity of the situation and the urgent need for Ukraine to address its military command structure and communication system, in order to prevent further loss of life and ensure a successful outcome in the conflict with Russia.
