(MENAFN) Dar Global, the global arm of Saudi real estate developer Dar Al Arkan, has joined forces with Italian luxury label Dolce & Gabbana to create a luxury accommodation project in the Maldives. The partnership will mark Dolce & Gabbana's debut in the hospitality and real estate industries and will combine the Italian brand's style with Dar Global's attention to detail, according to a press release. By choosing the Maldives, the partnership aims to symbolize the core values and hospitality standards of both brands.

Ziad Al Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that it represents a unique interpretation of Dolce & Gabbana's Italian spirit and reinforces Dar Global's commitment to delivering exceptional living experiences and investment opportunities to clients. The partnership with Dolce & Gabbana is the latest expansion move from Dar Global, which was listed on the London Stock Exchange in February with a valuation of SR2.25 billion (USD600 million). In an interview with Arab News, Dar Global's CEO, Ziad El Chaar, said that the company is proud to have grown a company like Dar Global and listed it on the London Stock Exchange, as it caters to a new breed of customers called global citizens who live and work in more than one country.

In November, Dar Al Arkan was awarded a contract to develop residential units in SEDRA, an integrated community project in northern Riyadh being constructed by Public Investment Fund national developer Roshn. SEDRA, which is being built in eight phases, is expected to add 30,000 residential units to Riyadh's housing stock once completed in three years. Almost 20 million square meters of neighborhoods are being built as part of the project.
