Al Shaqab Village To Host Garangao Night For Families

Doha: The public is invited to experience the warmth of Qatari hospitality during a Garangao Night at Al Shaqab Village. The colorful and youthful festival celebrates the halfway point of Ramadan and is a traditional celebration across Qatar and the entire Gulf region.

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 5, from 8:30pm to 12am. The evening will be filled with fun heritage activities, including a competition for the best Garangao night dress for children, fashion show, lantern workshops, traditional games, sadu weaving, and many more interesting and exciting activities.

Children will also have an opportunity to decorate and customize their Garangao bags before they collect their goodies and giveaways. Additionally, they can visit Dukan Al Fareej to explore different sweets, snacks, and products.

At Al Shaqab Village, families will enjoy the traditional festive atmosphere that reflects the ancient traditions and revives popular heritage amid songs that bring back memories of the beautiful past.
