WASHINGTON - Penta -
the 'stakeholder solutions' firm formed six months ago through a six-agency merger - has added New York's Copperfield Advisory to its holdings, bolstering its communications, branding and strategy expertise.
Copperfield's client service has centered on founder-led and owner-run institutions. The firm's team members have diverse professional backgrounds as well as expertise in disciplines including brand positioning, transaction communications, talent strategy and crisis preparedness.
Andy Whitehouse, Copperfield's founder and managing partner, will serve as a Penta senior partner and managing partner of the firm's New York strategy practice.

The acquisition is the latest step in furthering the rapid growth of Penta, which already expects to reach $100m in revenues this year , following a rapid roll up that with Copperfield features 10 firms in total, employing
more than 400 people across global offices, and backed by
majority investment from Falfurrias Capital Partners.
The six firms that created Penta had expertise across strategy, analytics, research and intelligence. Around half of Penta's revenues come from the intelligence side of the business, with the remainder from a consultancy offering that includes the recent acquisition of public affairs firm Hume Brophy. Meanwhile the group's board features notable PR industry veterans such as chairman Alastair Gornell, board chair Alexander Jutkowitz, and board member Beth Comstock.
