(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past day, Russian troops have shelled the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts in the Kharkiv region. The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, such settlements as Vovchansk, Kupiansk, Strilecha, Ohirtseve, Shevchenkove and Hrianykivka came under enemy fire.
Fortunately, civilians remained unharmed. Residential houses and household buildings were damaged.
Twenty-four more people were evacuated from the areas remaining under continuous enemy fire. They received humanitarian aid and were provided with accommodation if needed.
Demining efforts are underway in the Kharkiv region. The explosives experts of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service have neutralized 56 dangerous objects over the past day.
Meanwhile, Russian invaders again attempted to launch the offensive near Hrianykivka but suffered losses and retreated. The Ukrainian military are firmly holding defense and eliminating enemy forces.
