Iran, Turkmenistan energy representatives hold meeting in Ashgabat


(MENAFN) Senior representatives from Iran and Turkmenistan’s oil, gas, and petrochemical industries have hosted discussions on the offshoots of the Islamic Republic’s 14th special exhibition in Ashgabat, to discover avenues of joint collaboration, as reported by Shana.

Ruled by Deputy Oil Minister for Engineering, Research, and Technology Vahid-Reza Zeidifard, the Iranian delegation held a meeting and talked about collaboration in many sectors with the officials of Turkmenistan’s national oil, gas and petrochemical firms in separate gatherings.

While giving a speech in the gathering with the deputy chief of Turkmenistan’s national gas firm Türkmengaz, Zeidifard presented the abilities of Iranian firms operating in the oil sector and underlined the improvement and collaboration among the two nations.

Pointing to the fact that more than 70 percent of the equipment and items utilized in the Iranian oil sector are produced by local producers, the representative proposed to support Turkmenistan by providing the nation with these kind of equipment.
