(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Avolon, the international aircraft leasing company, announced that it completed the delivery of five new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to Akasa Air, India's newest airline.
Delivery of the aircraft commenced in December 2022 and was completed in January 2023.
This sale and leaseback transaction is Avolon's first deal with Akasa.
On the occasion, Paul Geaney, President and Chief Commercial Officer, Avolon, commented,“We are excited to support new entrants to the market, so it is a pleasure to have completed this transaction to lease five new narrowbody aircraft to Akasa.
